    About Us
    Prima Chemicals, located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India was founded in 1976 by Mr. Kamlesh Modi for manufacturing Pyrazolones, which are specialty intermediates for Pigments and Acid dyes.

    What began as a small unit designed for a 1 ton/month capacity is now the single largest manufacturer of 20 different Pyrazolones in the world. We have reached a manufacturing capacity of 1400 tons annually.
    The requirement of Pyrazolones is catered to by two manufacturing units-Prima Chemicals and Polygon Chemicals.
